In the last few months, I’ve been a bit in a creative haze. I’m finally learning how to use the program Muse to write sheet music, and have been going through my phone and laptop hunting down all the recordings I’ve made the past year – and I found a few! (I haven’t counted, but somewhere between 50 and 100 drafts is a fair guess)

This song came to me during a few inspired minutes on a rainy October Sunday earlier this year. I recorded the improvisation on my laptop, then forgot about it (as I usually do 🙃)
As I started to learn how to write sheet music I picked this song as one of my practice objects – then realized it was way too difficult for me to play. When my piano teacher suggested I should play it at the Christmas concert I first refused since I didn’t believe I would be able to learn it. I’m very proud to say I proved myself wrong 😛

(The audio in the video is not from the live performance since the sound quality wasn’t very good. I’ve recorded it on the piano in our basement – still room for improvement in my home studio, but I’m getting there☺️)
